Created in 2004 and run by four young Berliners, Mykita exemplifies the emergence of a new breed of European eyewear designer. The young German team had already earned their stripes elsewhere, and have now combined to form a vibrant, dynamic and extremely imaginative design and manufacturing business. Every single frame is produced in-house.

Made from the highest quality stainless steel and avoiding the use of traditional hinges, bolts or screws, Mykita frames have a uniqueness and contemporary sense of purpose that makes them very much a product of their age. If Apple Computers made spectacles, they'd look like Mykita.
